Madolyn’s Peter Rabbit Birthday

There is no better way to get through a Monday than seeing just the cutest Peter Rabbit birthday ever! When our event planner friend Dori Thornton Waller of The Social Office called about first birthday ideas for sweet little Madolyn, we pitched a few and decided to go with the classic Peter Rabbit. It’s timeless, baby-ish still for a first birthday and completely gender neutral!

For the invitations we of course had to include one of our signature Nico and Lala elements to any invitation; a custom liner! We designed a vintage inspired carrot pattern which included Madolyn’s monogram, and that we then had made into fabric for the cake table! We love this special, custom touch! On the invitation, we included Peter Rabbit himself, some florals, and a pale pink ribbon for a sweet final touch.

The cake table was draped in the custom fabric we had made from the liner pattern! TOO CUTE! And, how incredibly meticulous and detailed is this custom Peter Rabbit birthday cake, and not to mention the smash cake for the birthday girl! The cake was done by Nashville staple and cake making guru, Leland Riggins of Dessert Designs! Also, their caramel cake with fudge is the best thing you will ever eat in your entire life (that is actually a fact), and they ship, so do yourself a favor and try it out!!!

The menu was full of garden vegetables from Mr. McGregor’s Garden, bunny themed foods and the table scape was topped off with an antique wheelbarrow full of florals from The Clay Pot! Everything was so perfectly themed and the food names she came up with were just adorable and fit so well! Look at those chicken salad roll ups, on carrots! They are just works of art and all food was catered by Lee Towery Catering of Chattanooga.

We designed custom monogrammed stadium cups and shatterproof cups, in pink and white of course, as well as Peter Rabbit straws! Are these not just SO adorable?! Not to mention that laminated placemat complete with bunny artwork and her name, coordinating with the cover of her invitations!

We of course couldn’t leave Minnie out of the birthday festivities since she is actually the family’s FIRST baby, so Dori had a special carrot print bandana made for her out of the fabric as well! How cute are these matching sisters?!

Hope everyone is having a great end to summer and back to school season! Next up, football! I know all of us Vols are counting down the season and praying for a good one! 🙂

An easy way to bring in your theme and also very useful for bite sized bites and cocktails!

These are always a hit with the kiddos and make for great drink decor!

These make your display easy to read (and eat!) and also add some party pizzaz to your table!
