We’ve had the joy of designing for this family for years—from Christmas cards and baby showers to birthday parties and celebrations for their children—so bringing this magical Sugar Plum Soirée to life was especially sweet. Inspired by the whimsical world of The Nutcracker, we created a soft pastel palette of blush pink, powder blue, buttery yellow and mint, with custom illustrations woven throughout the invitation and coordinating party details. From personalized cups and napkins to place cards and sweets, every detail carried the story through the celebration.
And because a little Texas heat wasn’t going to get in the way of a winter wonderland, the family transformed their Dallas front yard with a real ice-skating rink for the occasion! Gingerbread house decorating, larger-than-life Nutcracker balloons, an incredible storybook cake and a visit from Santa completed a Christmas celebration that felt every bit as magical as the Land of Sweets.
