NEW ORLEANS SOUTHERN WEDDING

Madi and Josh’s wedding New Orleans southern wedding was full of grandeur and southern charm! The couple’s ceremony was held on the Rooftop Terrace of the Roosevelt Hotel and the party continued downstairs in the ballroom. Madi really wanted a feminine paper suite with a traditional monogram but with a little bit of whimsy and fun intertwined! We designed a custom folio for her New Orleans southern wedding invitations which was printed in a french blue floral. The folio not only served to hold the letterpress invitation suite together, but also as its’ outer envelope! The calligrapher wrote each name and address by hand on the reverse. She said each guest felt like they were opening an Oscar! Another fun twist was that once each guest pulled out their invitation, beneath read “See you in New Orleans!” The embossed edges on each invitation were done in the same pattern as the custom folio, but instead of color, we chose to blind emboss to balance the design. Madi and Josh’s custom wedding logo was used throughout the wedding day paper goods and kept the look cohesive and southern chic! And as the Cajuns say, (and as we did on the reception card)..Laissez les bons temps roule; let the good times roll and enjoy this New Orleans southern wedding!
